Make Music Day

HARMAN Makes Music Across the Globe

Make Music Day

On June 21, HARMAN employees from all over the world participated in Make Music Day celebrations. A tradition since 1982, Make Music Day encourages musicians and music lovers alike to take to the streets and celebrate this universal language. As a company with a rich history in music, we were more than happy to support this global effort with a host of activities for our employees around the globe.

In Hungary, our employees in Székesfehérvár and Pecs took part in an all-day Star Jam, taking the stage to jam with their colleagues under beautiful summer skies with the help of gear powered by HARMAN.

HARMAN once again supported Street Studio Cities in New York City, collaborating with Found Sound Nation and the Make Music Alliance, and setting up a pop-up studio outside our flagship HARMAN store. Passersby played and recorded music with the help of a professional DJ and producer. This was one of many such spots throughout the city.

HARMAN's team in Germany invited employees, customers and journalists to the European headquarters near Munich to take part in a showcase of our industry-leading car audio technologies and solutions, including demos of SUMMIT Next and VOYAGER Next, as well as HALOsonic sound management solutions.

Some of our sites also made contributions to charities that promote STEM and music.

Other offices, including Franklin, Queretaro, Hungary, Stamford and Tijuana had the opportunity to celebrate the global initiative with unique music themed foods in their cafés and live musical events.

As music is embedded in our DNA, HARMAN is proud to be a part of the global activities that contribute to the Make Music Day celebrations. We look forward to continuing our mission in enabling musicians and bringing quality music to people around the world!
