JBL’s epic summer campaign is well and truly underway! In the spirit of being a brand that loves to provide unforgettable moments and knows how to party, JBL is participating in several key festivals across Europe.
We kicked off our summer by sponsoring the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland for the first time. The festival is an iconic event that is conducted in one of the most beautiful locations in the world and has over 230,000 attendees. Originally a pure jazz festival, Montreux today features artists of nearly every musical style including a number of artists brought in by JBL ambassador Quincy Jones. The 51st Montreux Jazz festival featured intimate performances from world renowned artists such as Usher, Tom Jones, Kasabian, Passenger & The Lumineers.
Seventeen of JBL’s key customers in Europe were sent for a special, once in a lifetime experience. Their visit included a hotel stay and VIP tickets to see Macy Gray, Tom Jones, John Newman and Grace Jones as well as an exclusive meet and greet with Quincy Jones at Claude Nobs' chalet.
JBL also sponsored the Montreux Jazz Festival pool party, where our waterproof game activation was very popular with over 2,000 people playing for a chance to win a JBL portable speaker.
This program was a huge success and our customers were blown away with the experience.
