For the second year in a row, JBL Fest took over Las Vegas for the ultimate brand experience complete with a star-studded celebrity roster and unforgettable music events. Over the course of an epic three days, Car Audio hosted 21 global influencers, bloggers and media on behalf of HARMAN, Toyota, and smart to not only learn about the JBL brand, but also discover for themselves how premium sound elevates experiences on the road.
Kicking off the second day of JBL Fest, guests took part in a multi-sensory “How to Listen” session, part of HARMAN University. To give this presentation that world-renowned Las Vegas flair, we presented our concepts on sound with a live band, customized lightshow, curated food experience, and dynamic presentation by our passionate JBL engineers. The session was a crowd hit, turning media and customers into more discerning listeners by introducing them to acoustic concepts and the art and science of creating exceptional sound. The presentation wouldn’t be complete unless guests were able to put their new knowledge to the test, so we provided JBL-equipped Toyota and smart vehicles and invited them to hit the road.
It’s one thing to hear exceptional sound in the car, but for the ultimate JBL experience, we gave guests the opportunity to choose their own JBL Joy Ride adventure with four different route options featuring famous Las Vegas destinations – Red Rock Canyon, 7 Magic Mountains, the Neon Museum and the Las Vegas Strip – along with tailored playlists so they could immerse themselves in epic sound on the road. Encouraging each group to truly test the limits of the JBL audio systems, the drive was the perfect way to let them experience how great sound amplifies every drive into a memorable experience. Both activations – the “How to Listen” session and demo and JBL Joy Ride Adventure – gave our media and influencers everything they needed to share with their audiences the power of JBL sound. As HARMAN Insider Emma Loggins put it best; “Just pair the trip with some great tunes and an amazing sound system – and magic happens.”
