HARMAN Takes Over the Hospitality for Media
A first-ever activation, HARMAN hosted the official NAMM Media Center in Hall A using our JBL/AKG
Mobile Studio truck! The studio served as the base operations for dozens of media outlets conducting interviews, including CNN, LA Times, Backstage360 and more. Also in the Mobile Studio, HARMAN hosted a series of live performances, trainings and even a daily live podcast recording of the Up for Discussion podcast, which included interviews with renowned industry professionals such as the L.A.-based band and JBL Pro ambassadors, Evaride, Eveanna Manley, Lenise Bent and Karrie Keyes. Our Mobile Studio was a great success, gathering dozens of press members and podcasters who took the opportunity to bring their creative ideas to life and make their own recordings by using our cutting-edge products like the AKG Lyra mics and AKG K371 headphones (These are part of our Podcaster Essentials Kits; see more details below).
Quality Sound Wherever You Need It
With the potential for a wide range of applications, HARMAN’s cutting-edge PA systems can be setup fast and produce crystal-clear audio in no time. Building on our heritage of powerful solutions, our HARMAN Professional Solutions unit announced the latest JBL IRX Series portable PA loudspeakers, which provide musicians, performers and presenters with iconic JBL sound in a highly portable, feature-rich package that is very easy to transport. With class-leading volume and clarity, IRX Series speakers deliver detailed, intelligible sound for vocals and music.
Our JBL Professional suite of audio solutions also welcomed the EON ONE Compact portable PA system to the EON ONE family. Weighing less than 18 pounds with a built-in carrying handle, the Bluetooth EON ONE Compact makes it easy for users to stream music and link multiple speakers, and a handy mobile app for Android and iOS provides intuitive control.
Music Production Beyond the Recording Studio
Today’s creative professionals and music fans need reference monitors that deliver neutral, accurate
sound to create mixes that translate well in a variety of listening environments. At NAMM and CES, we showed that HARMAN Professional Solutions’ rich heritage in recording gives consumers an extensive catalog of new, signature products to equip their studios.
Drawing from more than seven decades of JBL Professional engineering expertise, our guests had the opportunity to experience HARMAN’s brand-new JBL Professional One Series 104-BT and 104-BTW desktop reference monitors. Suited for musicians, producers, podcasters and professional audio engineers, the JBL 104-BT reference monitors integrate smoothly into any production workspace, thanks to smart features like a front-panel input control that selects Bluetooth, Aux, RCA, TRS or combines all inputs.
Designed to give podcasters the versatile, powerful audio solutions that enable them to create the highest quality productions that stand apart from the crowd, HARMAN Professional Solutions was pleased to show off the new AKG Podcaster Essentials Bundle. The cutting-edge bundle features a Lyra USB microphone, K371 headphones, Ableton Live 10 Lite software, and a 4-part Berklee Online recording class.
Built upon AKG’s rich musical heritage, HARMAN awed musicians with the debut of AKG’s Lyra Ultra-HD, a multi-mode USB microphone that delivers the highest-quality audio in its class. Lastly, we honed in on our commitment to providing the perfect reference headphones for today’s mobile creative lifestyles, with the unveiling of AKG’s Bluetooth-enabled state-of-the-art K361-BT and K371-BT professional studio headphones.
