Sprint Magic Box TREBL shines for integrating advanced connected technologies into a user-friendly, beautiful and effective consumer design.

After receiving a CES 2019 Innovation Award, the Sprint Magic Box TREBL - the world’s first Smart Home Small Cell designed in partnership with HARMAN Connected Services and Sercomm Corporation - has now been announced as a nominee for the prestigious Global Mobile Award for best connected consumer device at Mobile World Congress 2019.

The award winner in this category will be presented live on Mobile World Live TV! on Monday, February 25 onsite at Mobile World Congress. The show’s Global Mobile Award hosts for 2019, Larry Madowo and Remel London will present each nominee, describe their impact on the industry and award the winner. Presentations will take place at various locations throughout the MWC show floor, and will also be featured on Mobile World Live TV, the official TV channel of MWC Barcelona. The Sprint Magic Box TREBL is a completely wireless small cell that equips Sprint customers with enhanced LTE data coverage for speed-boosting capabilities, helping to ensure every part of a connected home can run smoothly and seamlessly.

Sprint Magic Box TREBL also integrates personal voice assistants and control of smart home devices via the Amazon Alexa ecosystem. On top of its smart capabilities, the device delivers incredible sound quality thanks to integrated Harman Kardon audio 2x8 Watt speakers, an embedded amplifier, far field microphones, and noise and echo cancellation.

Through the collaboration, HARMAN Connected Services led the consumer centric design, embedded audio integration, voice enablement, testing and the product launch. HARMAN Connected Services partnered with its original design manufacturer (ODM) partner, Sercomm, to develop this product. As devices become more intelligent, HARMAN Connected Services and Sercomm are poised to take this unique partnership to the next level.
