As a global organization that is dedicated to harnessing cutting-edge technologies to deliver better consumer experiences 24x7, we at HARMAN look forward to summer every single year! From spending time outdoors to gathering with friends, the summer presents limitless opportunities to create unique and unforgettable experiences, made all the more memorable by cutting-edge audio solutions from HARMAN’s family of brands. In particular, legendary HARMAN brand JBL knows the true meaning of creating special summer memories. To celebrate the spirit of summer and the reopening of cities across the country, we were proud to launch the JBL True Summer Campaign in June! JBL True Summer aims to bring the heat with a mix of live music events, engaging social media campaigns, and the opportunity for consumers nationwide to come together through their love of music.

In JBL’s mission to bring back True Summer vibes, we’re hosting pop-up concerts in thriving cities across the U.S., providing a safe, music-centric experience for our consumers. JBL True Summer kicked off at an iconic Los Angeles venue with performances by global music sensation and JBL ambassador Bebe Rexha, singer-songwriter and multi-platinum recording artist Jason Derulo and well-renowned DJ Sophia Eris. Some of social media’s favorite influencers and TikTokers were on hand to make the event truly special too. Learn about more of the JBL True Summer events:

  • July 8 in Los Angeles: Consumers entered to win tickets to this invite-only VIP event on and as part of a giveaway on 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles. JBL collaborated with iHeartRadio to give away one grand prize flyaway trip to New York or Miami for JBL True Summer events.
  • July 17 at Domino Park in Brooklyn, New York, we brought you a performance by Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA and a DJ set by Funk Flex. Please note: there will be limited capacity at the outdoor venue to comply with local Covid restrictions.
  • July 29-August 1 at Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park. Stay tuned to JBL’s social media channels to learn how to enter for a chance to win VIP tickets.

To support the highly anticipated reopening of music venues, JBL graciously chose to donate a portion of sales on to support the National Independent Venue Association’s (NIVA) #SaveOurStages initiative. JBL also made a product donation valued at $100,000 to the organization. Those funds and products will benefit workers and musicians impacted by the pandemic, all of whom have played an important role in embracing and cultivating local talent and culture through music, even during the unprecedented circumstances of the past year.

“The JBL True Summer campaign is our way of delivering a unique experience music fans have missed over the last year while
