HARMAN is gearing up for an intense few weeks in the heat of the Spanish summer: from June 26 to July 21, Ford of Europe is welcoming media representatives and influencers from all over Europe to Northern Spain for an exclusive series of events about the all-new Ford Fiesta. The new Fiesta is the first ever production vehicle to feature the B&O PLAY Sound System – and Ford has invited HARMAN to be part of their media program at the scenic Castilla Termal Monastery of Valbuena hotel to showcase the sound system to an expected 500 journalists.

At this live-and-personal event, the media representatives are invited to engage their senses directly, rather than simply listening to presentations on the car’s features. Awaiting the journalists are zones for all five senses – including a 360-degree visual narrative that brings to life the vehicle’s camera, radar and ultrasonic sensor technologies, a darkened “touch tunnel” for hands-on exploration of the materials used in the new Fiesta, and of course the audio story with the B&O PLAY Sound System. As well as exploring and experiencing the sound system, guests are also invited to express how they feel when subjected to different sounds and styles of music. Image sequences of their facial expressions will be made available for instant sharing.

A highlight of the event is the masterclass with a HARMAN`s “Golden Ear” specialists: a fantastic opportunity for a guests to investigate the in-car acoustics in detail in a one-to-one or small group session with HARMAN audio experts and find out for themselves how the rich and powerful sound of the B&O PLAY Sound System elevates in-car listening to new levels.

The all-new Ford Fiesta, equipped with the premium B&O PLAY Sound System for rich and powerful sound, provides pure listening pleasure for all passengers. Derived from the iconic design of B&O PLAY consumer products, the system features 10 high-performance speakers, 9 channels with 675-watt output, Digital Signal Processing (Adaptive Volume, Surround Sound, Power Manager) and static and dynamic sound tuning to ensure a consistent listening experience inside the car in all driving conditions.

Following the partnership launch events in Detroit and Cologne and the first presentations of the new Ford Fiesta in Geneva and Copenhagen, the event series offers for the first time for the media to experience the B&O PLAY Sound System in the all-new Ford Fiesta while driving.
