CES 2016, Las Vegas – Today, HARMAN International Industries, Incorporated (NYSE:HAR), the premier connected technologies company for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, announced the next generation of the Infinity® Kappa Series Subwoofers. The Kappa Series delivers high performance, low distortion and major impact.

The Kappa Series features Selectable Smart Impedance™ (SSI), a HARMAN-exclusive impedance selector, which lets the user choose either 2-or 4-ohm impedance at the flip of a switch. Its innovative and proprietary aero-cooling design keeps the voice coil cool while optimizing power handling and enhancing long-term reliability. Additionally, the acoustically damped glass-fiber cones have been engineered to minimize distortion and enhance accuracy over its entire frequency range. The result is incredible performance coupled with more flexibility than any other subwoofer on the market. For years Infinity Kappa has offered vehicle audio enthusiasts with superior loudspeaker and subwoofer solutions that deliver an impeccable audio performance.

“Renowned for their performance driven design and high impact, the Infinity Kappa subwoofers are an outstanding performer. We often hear from our retail customers that the Kappa line continues to be the go to line for consumers looking for superior performance at a great value. Our new Kappa series subwoofers continue to honor that promise even better than ever before,” said Jeffery Fay, VP and GM of Aftermarket Services at HARMAN.
