CES 2025, LAS VEGAS – January 6, 2025 – Today, HARMAN International Industries, the premier audio brand, announces the second-generation JBL Stage GT Amp series. From the compact sedan to full-size SUVs, the series integrates with car stereos to deliver a stadium-quality audio experience on the road.
“As one of the greatest audio brands in the world, we’re bringing fist-pumping, stadium-like, audio to every car owner,” said Shawn Spedding, Director of Aftermarket Audio, HARMAN. “Featuring legendary JBL Pro sound, the new Stage GT amps are perfectly designed to optimize system performance and deliver the most satisfying behind-the-wheel listening experience.”
Ranging from 500-watts x 1 to 65-watts x 4 of power, the new JBL STAGE GT 50011 and JBL STAGE GT 60041 built-in amplifiers are equipped with major upgrades to improve audio performance and ease of use. Enjoy a seamless transition from former audio systems with the new OEM Load Detect System, designed to ensure the vehicle automatically responds to the new amplifier without negatively impacting the power grid. The new Stage GT series can interface with nearly every conventional audio source unit and speaker configuration available in the automotive market - providing endless versatility, no matter the vehicle. The Class D models now offer start-stop vehicle capabilities, allowing for consistent audio and increased battery efficiency when the vehicle is momentarily paused at a stop sign or traffic light. JBL STAGE GT 50011 has also been redesigned to include adjustment controls for Q factors, delivering a more tailored sound and enhanced bass performance.
Remaining true to the legacy products, the new Stage GT series remains compact in size and up to 35% smaller than competitors, allowing consumers more flexibility and mounting options. The in-unit features also allow for greater customization to suit a variety of listening preferences, including selectable options between high inputs and RCA inputs, switchable EQ settings for personalized sound quality, thermal management components to reduce overheating, and a full conventional protection suite to prevent electrical issues. The JBL STAGE GT 50011 also includes a remote bass control for easy adjustments without ever leaving the vehicle’s front seat.
The new JBL STAGE GT 50011 and JBL STAGE GT 60041 will be available on JBL.com and available for $139-$249 in Q4 2025.
