STAMFORD, CT – January 4, 2022 – JBL’s hybrid subwoofer and portable speaker, the JBL BassPro Go has been upgraded. With the new car kit and in-home AC wall charger accessories now available, music enthusiasts can charge the BassPro Go for versatile use in and of the vehicle.

When docked inside the vehicle’s trunk, the JBL BassPro Go adds powerful bass to the existing car audio system, delivering JBL’s Signature Sound performance equivalent to a an 8-inch subwoofer. Proprietary high-efficiency transducers enable custom EQ settings to enhance bass response in-vehicle and balance the sound performance out-of-vehicle, based on listening preferences.

The JBL BassPro Go also operates as a portable Bluetooth speaker when undocked from the vehicle. The speaker is designed to deliver big concert sound at any tailgate or party with up to 8 hours of play time. Users can also connect up to 3 mobile devices and take turns playing DJ when it’s detached from the mount.

The new car kit and wall accessory options provide adaptable charging options for the JBL BassPro Go at home or on-the-go.

The speaker’s sleek, iconic design integrates with any vehicle’s interior while delivering superior sound. In addition, the IPX5 water-resistant covering lets users embrace an active lifestyle without worrying about rain or spills. Built for versatility, the system is easy to dock or undock with no tools required and has the ability to charge devices via USB so users are always connected.

With its 140mm active subwoofer, passive radiators and 40mm full-range transducers, the JBL BassPro Go delivers an output level of 99dB while streaming Bluetooth® audio. A reduced surface area cone with high motor strength allows the active subwoofer to play -10dB @ 40Hz.
