(STAMFORD CT, NOV. 2) — HARMAN International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., focused on connected technologies for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, today announced an agreement for HARMAN to continue the development and selling of the Polycom® RealPresence® Media Suite and support for the Polycom Video Content Management portfolio. HARMAN will leverage the expertise of its global engineering team to ensure that the Polycom Media Suite Portfolio continues to lead the market in enterprise-grade recording, streaming and content management solutions.
The Polycom RealPresence Media Suite extends HARMAN’s offerings for enterprise customers looking to add video recording, streaming and content management to their IoT strategy. HARMAN has been a key partner of Polycom’s since 2016 including aiding in research efforts in India.

This agreement begins January 1, 2018. As part of this partnership, HARMAN will now own the engineering development, sales and support for the following Polycom VCM products:
- Media Suite
- Capture Station
- Media Editor
- Polycom® RealPresence® Media Manager
- RSS 2000
- RSS 4000
