JBL Hits a New High Note with Bebe Rexha
From powering the sound at Woodstock to rocking the house at Madison Square Garden, JBL is no stranger to producing epic moments. So, it comes as no surprise that JBL is teaming up with international music sensation Bebe Rexha! As a life-long fan of the brand, Bebe will debut as our JBL Brand Ambassador in an upcoming holiday campaign that showcases how powerful sound fuels her throughout the year and inspires her to live life colorfully. Not to mention, she’ll also be showing off her impressive singing and songwriting skills during an exclusive performance at our upcoming immersive brand event, JBL Fest, in 2021.
Like JBL, Bebe is a true force to be reckoned with. After accumulating more than 12 million overall single sales and more than 10 billion total global streams, she has gained a massive following of listeners and fans around the world. One of the youngest artists to receive the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ Best Teen Songwriter Award, Bebe burst onto the music scene with an energy and passion unmatched by her peers.
As our latest global brand ambassador, Bebe joins a star-studded roster of musicians, entertainers, and athletes, including the most-nominated musician and producer in GRAMMY’s history, Quincy Jones; world renowned DJ and producer, Armin van Buuren; Indian music mogul, A.R. On October 15th, HARMAN celebrated the grand opening of the first JBL-branded retail store –our second store location in New York City! Located at 19 E. Houston Street in the bustling SoHo neighborhood, the new store is stocked with nearly 100 different product offerings from JBL and was specially designed to cater to the consumer listening experience. By integrating JBL Professional Sound throughout the store, shoppers receive a first-hand experience of JBL’s powerful sound.
Rather than simply stocking shelves with headphones and speakers, the store is outfitted with interactive customer experience centers so shoppers have the option to test the quality of JBL’s signature sound through their own smart devices. But what if you are looking for a customized speaker that’s styled perfectly to your liking? The JBL Store features a dedicated display of customized products, with detailed instructions on how to select colors, patterns, or even upload personal photos to create a one-of-a-kind headphone or speaker that is perfectly your own.
Customers who make their way to the JBL Gaming section will be able to test out all eight headphone models in our cutting-edge JBL Quantum range while playing today’s most popular video games. Not only will they be able to realize the benefits of head-tracking in the JBL Quantum ONE headset, they can also opt to experience the crystal-clear sound of Dolby Atmos, featured in the JBL BAR 9.1. To top it all off, the store also features a section dedicated to products from Harman Kardon, so that visitors are sure to find a perfectly-suited pair of headphones or wireless speakers for all their needs.
To celebrate our grand opening, we teamed up with JBL Ambassador and NBA athlete Julius Randle to donate a pair of headphones to a local elementary school to help students who are e-learning with every purchase made at the store through October 29th. The JBL Store is open Tuesday through Sunday and fully compliant with New York City’s reopening guidelines for retailers – stop on by and see us!
