For some of us, summertime means spending the day poolside, catching waves at the beach, or grilling at backyard barbecues. For HARMAN, JBL, and the biggest music-lovers around us, summer marks the start of festival season. And this year JBL will be pulling out all the stops.
Each year, JBL runs a campaign with some of our biggest retail partners giving our fans the chance to experience JBL at summer’s hottest music festivals. Just last year, our fans at Tomorrowland heard unparalleled audio and felt every drop, sidechain, and pluck courtesy of JBL. Our lucky guests receive the full VIP treatment. Perks include backstage access and the chance to meet their favorite artists. Our JBL influencers are on site at these events, helping our followers to share the moment. The Ultimate Summer Festival: Tomorrowland
For two weekends in July, JBL will return to Boom, Belgium to sponsor one of the world’s largest and most notable music festivals. Tomorrowland is the ultimate festival experience featuring some of the best EDM DJs, including HARMAN’s own ambassadors Armin van Buuren, Nicky Romero, Klingande, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Over the course of three days, guests stay in magical “Dreamville” and roam between 16 incredible stages, including the world famous Main Stage. Attending Tomorrowland is a lifelong dream for millions of fans around the world, and festival passes usually sell out within minutes.
JBL is the ultimate audio brand, and there’s no better place for us this summer than at the ultimate music festival. At Tomorrowland, our guests receive VIP tickets, plus access to some of the best spots on the main stages. A special VIP section at the LEAF by JBL Stage gives them the opportunity to meet some of our JBL ambassadors while cooling off with refreshing cocktails and tasty treats.
The UK’s Hottest Summer Festival: Wireless
From July 5 – 7 you’ll find JBL at Finsbury Park in London for Wireless, featuring some of the biggest and best artists in urban music. Since 2005, Wireless has cemented itself as the home of grime, hip-hop, garage music and more. The festival features some of the most talked about names in the UK and internationally, resulting in sold out shows every year. This year’s lineup includes headliner sets from Cardi B, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky and Migos, with the likes of Future and Rae Sremmurd performing throughout the weekend.
This year, JBL guests will receive weekend VIP passes. These include access to the VIP village and the JBL Chill N Charge station, where festivalgoers can charge their phones and listen to the hottest beats via JBL speakers. When guests are fully refreshed and ready to party again, they can head up to the JBL terrace for the best view of the acts on the main stage.
The Ultimate Scandinavian Music Festival: Summerburst
In June, JBL kicked off our summer festival tour at Summerburst in Göteborg, Sweden. So it’s only fitting that we wrap up our summer of festivals at Summerburst’s Closing Party in Stockholm! Held at the end of August, Summerburst is Scandinavia’s premier contemporary music event, featuring some of the biggest DJs in the world. This year marks the return of Swedish House Mafia, as well as performances from Tigerlily, Tiësto, Tinie Tempah, and more.
Partnering the most coveted audio brand with the most sought-after festival in Sweden is a match made in heaven. For both days of this music extravaganza, JBL guests will receive VIP access and accommodations. Fest-goers can listen and dance to the freshest new beats at the JBL VIP area by the main stage, and will also have the opportunity to meet JBL ambassador Tigerlily.
