We are proud to share that Toyota Motor Corporation, a HARMAN customer for more than 15 years, recently recognized our talented engineers and premium Mark LevinsonTM audio brand with a special award for outstanding technical achievement.
Toyota’s Lexus vehicles and HARMAN’s Mark Levinson brand have enjoyed an exclusive relationship for many years, jointly launching several industry firsts. This award recognizes HARMAN’s advancements in the Mark Levinson 3D QLI Reference Surround Sound System. This 7.1-channel surround sound system includes a jaw-dropping 23 speakers in 16 locations throughout the cabin, producing the equivalent of 2400 watts of rich, immersive audio delivering precise sound reproduction.

HARMAN’s latest innovation – Quantum Logic Immersion – will premiere as a world automotive first on the fifth generation of the Lexus LS. Quantum Logic Immersion utilizes HARMAN’s proprietary digital signal processing algorithms to deliver the widest range and highest quality of sound on the market, providing drivers and passengers an expansive yet natural 3D surround sound experience in the cabin.
The award was presented by Toyota’s Managing Officer Mr. Masayoshi Shirayanagi and Lexus Chief Engineer Mr. Toshio Asahi on October 18 at a gala event held at the Lexus Tahara facility in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
