Premium Harman Kardon sound for premium cars

The Mercedes GLE and A-class both are equipped with premium Harman Kardon audio. The GLE features a total of 14 high-performance speakers positioned optimally in the car, e.g. in the instrument panel, mirror sails, doors, and the rear of the car. In addition to its high-performance, double voice-coil subwoofer, the GLE is equipped with a high-performance Class D amplifier with 830 watts total output and Logic 7 surround audio processing. In the A-class, 12 high-performance speakers are positioned optimally in the car, e.g. in the instrument panel, mirror sails, doors, C pillars, and the rear of the car. Together with a double voice-coil subwoofer, a high performance 9-channel DSP amplifier with Logic 7 surround audio processing provides premium sound quality.

Harman Kardon systems are, for the first time, featured in Alfa Romeo’s Giulia and Maserati’s Ghibli and Quattroporte models. The Giulia sports 14 speakers and a 12 channel, Class D amplifier with 900 watts total output, whereas Maserati cars are equipped with a total of 10 speakers, including a 315mm x 200 mm racetrack subwoofer and a 12-channel Class D amplifier.

The world premieres of BMW’s X1, M3 and 3 series models as well as the European premiere X5 plug-in hybrid all feature Harman Kardon premium audio systems.  Also on display at IAA will be BMW’s Harman Kardon equipped Mini Clubman.

 

HARMAN JBL in new Smart convertibles

The new Smart fortwo convertible is equipped with 8 high performance speakers and a high-performance 6-channel DSP amplifier with  240 watts of total output.

 

Premium Mark Levinson audio system for Lexus RX

Toyota’s Lexus RX is equipped with a premium Mark Levinson audio system with 15 speakers in 12 locations powered by an 835 watts 10-channel digital amplifier. The listening experience is perfected by the 7.1 channel architecture for 360-degree surround sound immersion, the Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL), which automatically adjusts the volume and tone quality to the noise level in the car, and HARMAN’s Clari-Fi music restoration technology.

 

BMW 7 series with diamond B&W surround sound system

The premium BMW 7 series features a Bowers & Wilkins high-end luxury sound system with 16 speakers, including Diamond Dome tweeters, and a 10-channel Class D amplifier with 1400 watts and QuantumLogic surround sound processing.

 

Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System for Audi A4

The Audi A4 provides outstanding listening experience with a 19 speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System featuring 5.1 surround sound, a 16-channel Class D amplifier delivering 755 watts and Vehicle Noise Compensation (VNC) technology.  

 

Infinity Premium Surround Audio for Hyundai Santa Fe

Hyundai’s mid-size SUV Santa Fe is equipped with a 12 speaker Infinity Premium Surround Audio System powered by a 630 watts 11-channel amplifier. The system delivers a powerful and multi-dimensional surround sound experience due to HARMAN’s QuantumLogic Surround technology. Together with the featured Clari-Fi music restoration technology the system provides premium sound quality to driver and passengers.
