MUNICH May 9, 2019 - HARMAN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and one of the leading providers of networked technologies for the automotive, consumer and corporate customers, presents the latest product arrivals from its Luxury Audio Group as part of HIGH END 2019 (M.O.C. Munich, 9 to 12 May 2019). Located in Hall A4.1, F119, the company will showcase models from its portfolio of long-established brands, including appearances from JBL Synthesis, Mark Levinson, Lexicon and Revel.

Following the repositioning of its Luxury Audio Group, announced at the end of 2018, HARMAN is now focusing on further expanding its partner and distribution network, as well as developing its brands and launching new products. In particular, Mark Levinson and Lexicon with a number of product launches, are the focus of this year’s HIGH END.

HARMAN will be showing two integrated amplifiers from the Mark Levinson 5000 series, the No. 5805 and No. 5802. Its maker equips the No. 5802 with exclusively digital inputs, while the No. 5805 adds an additional analogue pre-stage, allowing further connectivity possibilities. Both amplifiers will be available shortly after the HIGH END, with recommended retail prices of 8.000 EUR for the No. 5802 and 9.000 EUR for the No. 5805. And in a world premiere, Mark Levinson will reveal the No. 5101 player, the latest addition to its 5000 series, bringing the characteristic design of the revered American brand.

For nearly 50 years, the Lexicon brand has set standards for professional users as well as demanding hi-fi enthusiasts alike, and with the exclusive presentation of the SoundSteer SL-1, HARMAN continues this tradition. The innovative speaker system, finished in its iconic hourglass design, captivates with its sheer numbers, as the two floor standing speakers account for a total of 66 speaker drivers, arranged in a 360-degree configuration; 46 discrete amplifier channels; and a music output of a whopping 1,300 watts. The active and completely wireless Lexicon SL-1 makes it possible to individually optimise the sound for each listening position, guaranteeing a crystal clear and high-resolution audio experience at all times, even when the speakers are placed in less favourable positions in the room.

In addition to these new product introductions, HARMAN offers a comprehensive cross-section of its luxury brand and product portfolio at its stand. Definitely not to be missed, the company is showing the JBL L100 Classic, the latest edition of its best-selling JBL loudspeaker which dates back to 1970. The Revel brand is also present at the booth with models from the PerformaBe series leading the way. These beautiful loudspeakers feature Beryllium drivers, which help the PerformaBe line equate to the utmost in acoustic brilliance and clarity.
