BassPro Go 2, Micro 8 and Nano 2 Fit Under Seats, in Tight Trunks and Out the Door as a Portable Bluetooth Speaker

LAS VEGAS – Nov. 3, 2026 – JBL is giving drivers more ways to feel their music with three new additions to its BassPro powered subwoofer lineup at SEMA Show 2026: the JBL BassPro Go 2, JBL BassPro Micro 8 and JBL BassPro Nano 2. Designed to add powerful bass to factory and aftermarket car audio systems, the new subwoofers make the most of available car and truck space. The BassPro Go 2 goes a step further, leaving the vehicle as a portable Bluetooth speaker that links with RALLYBAR Gen 2 and other Auracast-enabled JBL speakers. All three are on display through Nov. 6 in JBL Booth 10451 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Great bass should be a part of the drive without taking over the vehicle,” said Shawn Spedding, Director of Sales, Mobile Audio Aftermarket, JBL. “Whether it’s a Nano 2 hidden under the seat, a Micro 8 tucked into a truck cab or a Go 2 that comes along when the drive is over, this lineup gives installers an easy upgrade path for nearly any vehicle, no matter the available space.”

BassPro Go 2: Connected to the Car and RALLYBAR

The BassPro Go 2 is a powered subwoofer that docks in the vehicle and can leave with the driver as a portable Bluetooth speaker. Auracast technology allows the BassPro Go2 to double as a wireless subwoofer or full-range Auracast-enabled portable speaker, which allows seamless pairing with the RALLYBAR Gen 2 soundbars or JBL Flip 7 on a UTV or golf cart. A 140 mm active woofer and passive radiators work with a built-in 100-watt RMS (200 watts peak) Class D amplifier to deliver bass comparable to an 8-inch subwoofer from a 4-liter enclosure. A quick-disconnect harness handles power and charging, so the Go 2 docks and undocks without tools. Out of the vehicle, a button switches it to full-range output through two 40 mm drivers, and the IPX4-rated speaker plays for up to eight hours, streams over Bluetooth 5.4 and keeps a phone charged through its USB-C port.

BassPro Micro 8: Powerful Bass, Flexible Installation

The BassPro Micro 8 packs an 8-inch woofer and a built-in 300-watt RMS (600 watts maximum) Class D amplifier into a slim enclosure that fits under truck seats or in tight trunk spaces. Removable feet let installers fire it down toward the floor to improve bass output through cabin coupling, or mount it in other orientations to suit the vehicle, and a detachable power connector simplifies installation, service and removal. High-level and low-level inputs work with factory and aftermarket head units without extra converters, while adjustable crossover, gain and bass boost controls let installers tailor the sound to each vehicle.

BassPro Nano 2: Compact Size, AI-Enhanced Bass

Just 2-¾ inches tall, the BassPro Nano 2 brings a 200-watt RMS Class D amplifier and JBL AI Sound Boost to an underseat design. AI Sound Boost analyzes the audio signal in real time and adjusts the woofer’s output to maximize loudness and low-frequency response while minimizing distortion. Drivers looking for more bass can add a second Nano 2 through a simple daisy-chain connection. The 6-by-8-inch woofer sits in a die-cast enclosure made from post-consumer recycled aluminum, with DSP-powered bass EQ for tuning.

All three models include a remote bass control, putting bass adjustment within the driver’s reach.
