STAMFORD, CT -- HARMAN International Industries, Inc. (NYSE:HAR), the premium global audio and infotainment group, announced today that 19 of its audio products have been selected as winners in the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014 competition.

Red Dot’s internationally recognized Production Design competition began in 1954, and is now one of the world’s largest and most distinguished competitions recognizing excellence and innovation in product design. The independent Red Dot jury comprised of 40 international design experts evaluated a record 4,815 entries from 53 countries, selecting winning products based on a number of criteria including degree of innovation, functionality and formal quality.
